The Segway Cartagena team would like to welcome all cruise ship travelers to our site.
In this dedicated page, you will find valuable information to make your visit hassle free, by giving you specific transportation advice to and from Cartagena’s port, and by making sure you make it to our location safely. The map below shows you how to get to Segway Cartagena. It is not intended to be used as a walking route as some of the areas are not the safest for pedestrians.
There are two recommended ways to get from the port to our location:
Taxi Ride:
A cab will take you from the
port’s main gate
right into our business. The fare varies according to your negotiation skills, but oscillates
between $15
USD and $20 USD. You should tell the Taxi driver to take you to “El Boquetillo de la
Universidad” in “El Centro” (streets in the Centro area are known by their name, not by their number)
Pre-arranged ride:
Segway Cartagena will
arrange
transportation for you and your party. One way charge per couple is $15 USD. A driver
will be waiting for you and your party right at the main gate, holding a sign
with your
name (this is the very last gate of the port; there will be a round point in front of you, a
texaco
gas station towards your right).
